RICHARDSON, Texas - With the 2025-26 season just over three weeks away, Oklahoma Christian men's basketball was picked to finish 13th in the Lone Star Conference Preseason Poll.
The Eagles come into the new campaign after posting its most single-season wins ever inside the Payne Athletic Center under head coach Kendry Talley, who is entering his seventh season at the helm of his alma mater.
This year will be a new-look Eagles squad, however, as Talley and his staff bring in 10 newcomers, including six transfers. Headlining those transfers is redshirt sophomore guard
Ma'Syn Howell, who comes to OC from NCAA Division I North Texas. Howell played his high school ball at Legacy School of Sport and Science, where he led them to a 2023 CIBA national championship.
In addition to Howell is senior guard
Anthony Ignowski from LSC-foe Texas A&M International, where he averaged 11.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists in his lone year with the Dustdevils. Prior to his time at TAMIU, Ignowski played two seasons for North Dakota State College of Science and then one year at Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa. For his career, Ignowski has 1125 points, 351 rebounds and 297 assists.
Among the few returners Oklahoma Christian has is junior guard
Miles Gibson. The Allen, Texas, native led OC with 5.0 rebounds per game and scored 233 points on 53.2 percent (82-154) shooting last season. Along with Gibson is senior forward
Jason Clark, senior guard
Jayce Daniels, redshirt sophomore guard
Andrew Hill and sophomore guard
Josh Aiken.
