Court Haygarth joins the Oklahoma Christian staff as the Director of Athletics Communications ahead of the 2024-25 season.

Haygarth joins the Eagles after spending four years at Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Ark., working as the Director of Athletics Communications the last two years after serving as the Graduate Assistant Sports Information Director for the first two years

In his full-time role the last two years, Haygarth oversaw all 14 of HSU's varsity sports, producing content to help promote the Reddies' 450+ student-athletes with nominations of weekly, region and national awards, plus an active social media presence.

In the last two seasons, Haygarth was on-site at the 2023 and '24 Swimming and Diving Division II National Championships, where HSU garnered two team Top-10 finishes and eight individual National Titles. Also during Haygarth's time, the Henderson State women's golf program won three consecutive Region Championships, having covered three women's teams and one men's team at the National Championships.

During the 2024 spring season, Haygarth served as the Henderson State women's golf volunteer coach at the NCAA Division II National Championships at Orange County National Golf Course in Orlando, Fla. helping the Reddie women reach the National Quarterfinals.

While serving as a Graduate Assistant, Haygarth served as the primary statistician for football, basketball, volleyball and softball while being the main contact for many of Henderson's varsity sports, including volleyball, softball, tennis and men's and women's swimming and diving.

Prior to coming to Henderson State, Haygarth attended Oklahoma Baptist University, receiving his bachelor's degree in Communication Studies in 2020. Haygarth worked as an Athletic Communications Student Assistant at OKBU for three years, inheriting main-contact duties for men's and women's tennis, swimming & diving, and STUNT during his senior year. 

As a senior, Haygarth worked as the statistician for the 2019 NJCAA Region II Basketball tournament, held in Shawnee, Okla.

Before getting into athletic communications, Haygarth worked as a sports reporter and writer for Countywide & Sun in Tecumseh, Okla., from 2017-2019, covering several local high school teams. The sports under his jurisdiction included basketball, baseball, softball, cross country and wrestling.

A native of Edmond, Okla., Court and his wife McKenna live in Edmond with their one-year old daughter, Marty. Court earned his Master's degree in Sports Administration from HSU in 2022.
