Athletic Communications

Oklahoma Christian's athletic communications office handles publicity for the university's 16 NCAA sports and seven club sports. Court Haygarth began as the Director of Athletics Communications in July 2024.

The athletic communications office's responsibilities include creating content for and maintaining the university's athletic website, handling athletic photography and video streaming services, producing news releases, providing official scorers and statisticians for OC athletics, maintaining historical records for OC sports, overseeing athletic social media accounts, handling award nominations, serving on OC's Athletic Hall of Fame committee, answering media queries and coordinating game operations at OC home athletic events.

For information on media policies at OC, please contact the Athletics Communications office and include your name and media affiliation. Media wishing to cover an athletic event at OC should contact the athletic communications office at least 24 hours before the event.

We welcome and encourage the media to interact with our student-athletes and coaches as much as possible – no matter their classification or sport – because we believe they have great stories to tell. We will try our best to facilitate all interview requests as soon as possible after the request is made, working within the restraints of academic, practice, and competitive schedules. Please make all interview requests to a representative in the athletic communications office.

If you are covering an Oklahoma Christian contest, OC players and coaches are generally available for postgame interviews approximately 10 to 15 minutes after the conclusion of a game/match. Please contact a representative of our office for arrangements on-site.
