RICHARDSON, Texas - Oklahoma Christian senior goalkeeper Breanna Wooten has been named the Lone Star Conference Goalkeeper of the Week for Week 5, the league office announced Monday evening.
Wooten delivered an outstanding performance between the posts to anchor a perfect 2–0 week in LSC play for the Eagles. Across two matches, the Wylie, Texas native tallied six saves and posted a shutout while allowing just a single goal on the week.
Wooten kicked off the week by securing a clean sheet in OC's victory over Sul Ross State. She followed up with a standout performance on the road against Angelo State, recording three saves to secure the Eagles' first-ever program victory over the Rams.
