RICHARDSON, Texas - Following Oklahoma Christian's most single-season wins since the 2018-19 season, Lady Eagles
Kate Bradley and
Nakia Cullom were recognized as Second Team and Honorable Mention All-Conference performers as voted on by the league's coaches, the conference office announced Wednesday, Mar. 5.
Bradley is the third Second Team honoree during head coach
Markeith Brown's three years at the helm of the program and the fifth consecutive year OC has garnered a Second Team All-LSC appearance. Joining the senior point guard is
Nakia Cullom as honorable mention, making it the first time since the 2020-21 campaign the Lady Eagles have posed two All-LSC performers.
This is both Bradley and Cullom's first times to be named All-Conference in their respective four and three year Oklahoma Christian careers.
"Me and my staff are super happy for these two young ladies," coach Brown said. "They both have been a huge part of our program's foundation for the past three years. They have set major standards for our program and I am extremely blessed to have coached them both."Â
A senior from Bixby, Okla.
(Bixby HS), Bradley became the newest member of the 1000-point club in OC history on Thursday, Feb. 6 against Texas A&M-Kingsville as part of her All-Conference season. The Sooner State product currently paces all of NCAA Division II with 39.03 minutes per game as she boasted 14.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists per contest.
Bradley, who played at least 40 minutes in her final eight games, closed her college career with nine consecutive outings of scoring in double figures while tallying at least six assists in each of her last three games. The four-year Lady Eagle closed the regular season 10th in the league in assist-to-turnover ratio (+1.1).
Cullom, a senior from Tulsa, Okla.
(Will Rogers HS) joined Bradley as the only Lady Eagles to start all 26 games for coach Brown's squad during the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 12.1 points and 6.2 rebound per game.
Similar to how Bradley closed the year, Cullom averaged 19.3 points per game over her last six games of the season, including three 20-point performances, while shooting 53.6 percent (45-of-84) from the floor and 52.6 percent (10-of-19) from three-point range. Over that six-game stretch, the fifth-year guard also recorded double-doubles in each of OC's final two home games.
Bradley and Cullom will now advance to the All-South Central Region ballot, where they will look to become Oklahoma Christian's first All-Region honorees since 2019. All-Region teams will be announced Thursday, Mar. 13.
