EDMOND, Okla. - Oklahoma Christian brings its four-match win streak to Lawton, Okla. Tuesday, Oct. 28 as the Eagles battle fellow Sooner State conference foe Cameron with first serve set for 6 p.m.
EAGLE OUTLOOK (14-7, 6-4 LSC)
Oklahoma Christian comes to Lawton off a weekend that saw OC rattle off six straight sets with sweeps against Sul Ross State and Western New Mexico. The Eagles are one of three teams in the Lone Star Conference who are on a current four-match win streak as the maroon-and-gray have won 12 of 13 sets over that stretch.
Against the Mustangs, who had only lost one home conference match all season coming into Saturday, Oklahoma Christian outhit WNMU, .274 to .191, for OC's fifth straight win over Western New Mexico.
Chloe Jones led the way with a 13-kill, 11-dig double-double as she is averaging 10.5 kills with a .346 attack percentage and 10.3 digs over the last four matches.
With seven matches remaining in the regular season, the Eagles have played their way into sixth in the current LSC standings and are half a game ahead of ninth place. Oklahoma Christian's next three contests are against teams tied or behind us in the current standings. Two of the final four matchups come against two of the four current top teams in the standings.
The Eagles have won two straight over Cameron, but the Aggies played OC to five sets last season in Lawton. The aforementioned Jones led the way with a match-high 19 kills while hitting .366 along with 17 digs.
Katy Geurin followed with 12 kills while also hitting north of .300.
Lauren Cary spearheaded the defense at the net with eight blocks.
SCOUTING CAMERON (7-16, 3-7 LSC)
Cameron welcomes OC to Lawton after winning three of its last four matches, two of which came at home, giving CU its three conference wins on the season. The black-and-gold are 3-2 inside Aggie Gym in 2025, which is tied for its most home victories since 2017.
Cameron is 15th and 16th in opponent hitting percentage (.215)Â and offensive hitting percentage (.140) in the conference, respectively, while allowing a league-most 13.84 kills per set. Sophomore outside hitter Anastasija Andelic captains a large majority of the Aggie offense with a team-most 158 kills on a second-best .195 average while also leading the way with 296 digs.
