OC split its four matches in the two-day event, played Friday and Saturday in the Eagles' Nest. The Eagles swept defending Northeast-10 Conference champion Bentley (Mass.) 3-1 and 3-0 in a pair of matches, while losing 3-0 to Lubbock Christian (Texas) and 3-2 to St. Mary's (Texas), a match the Eagles rallied from a two-set deficit and held a match point before falling.

She had 11 kills in the first win over Bentley and a career-high 16 kills to go with six block assists and seven digs in the five-set thriller against St. Mary's. She led OC with nine kills and added four block assists on Saturday in the three-set sweep of Bentley, recording a .571 attack percentage during that match.

Plato, a freshman setter from Houston, averaged 30.3 assists a match, the second-highest of any player in the festival. She opened the weekend with a career-high 37 assists, 10 digs, six kills, two aces and five blocks in a four-set win over Bentley. In a five-set loss to St. Mary's, she posted another double-double with 34 points and 11 digs to go with three aces.
