HOWE, Okla. (Nov. 10, 2021) – Shiloh Fletcher, who's played a key role on two state-championship teams at Howe High School, signed Wednesday to play college basketball at Oklahoma Christian, OC coach
Stephanie Findley said.
Fletcher, a 5-foot-5 point guard, averaged 11.2 points and 3.6 assists per game as a junior last season for Howe, which won the Class 2A title. The Lions also won the 2019 state title and were ranked No. 1 when the 2020 state tournament was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a junior, she was named to the
Southwest Times-Record's River Valley All-Area second-team list. She plays club basketball for Oklahoma Lady Fusion.
Fletcher comes from an athletic family, as her grandfather Ronnie Fletcher, father Paul Fletcher and two uncles (Patrick and Ronald) all played college football at Oklahoma.
"Shiloh is an outstanding 3-point shooter with very deep range and is also an excellent ball handler and passer," Findley said. "She comes from a powerhouse high school program with an excellent coach in Chris Brown. Her basketball IQ is high and her character and academics are off the charts as well. We can't wait to get her on campus as a Lady Eagle."
Fletcher is the first player to sign with the Lady Eagles during the current signing period.
