BORGER, Texas (May 12, 2020) – Antonia Kovacevic, an intriguing inside prospect who battled through injuries during her time in junior college, has signed to continue her college basketball career at Oklahoma Christian, OC coach Stephanie Findley said Tuesday.

When she takes the court for the Lady Eagles during the 2020-21 season, the 6-foot-3 Kovacevic – who's from Split, Croatia – will become one of the tallest players in the history of OC's program. She will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.

"Antonia is a skilled stretch-4 type player," Findley said. "She can hit the 3-pointer but can also play inside. She runs the floor well and is an excellent passer. Her length allows her to be a potential shot blocker on defense."

Injuries limited Kovacevic to only 10 games last season at Frank Phillips (Texas) College, during which she averaged 1.2 points per game. She starred in the classroom, making the National Junior College Athletic Association's All-Academic first-team list.

She is the sixth player to sign with OC for the 2020-21 season, joining forwards Atlanta Hopgood of Oklahoma City and Kana Rackley of Mounds, Okla., and guards Brooklin Bain of Comanche, Okla., Kayton Kite of Norman, Okla., and Samantha Good of Ryan, Okla.
