OKLAHOMA CITY (Dec. 23, 2018) – A performance in which Addy Clift broke two school records earned the Oklahoma Christian basketball player recognition Sunday as the Eagle of the Week.

Clift, a senior guard from Kiowa, put on perhaps the greatest performance of her career as OC won 97-96 on Monday over an Eastern New Mexico squad ranked No. 5 in the South Central Region. She snapped the single-game OC and Heartland Conference scoring records with 44 points, going 8 of 15 from 3-point range and a perfect 12 of 12 from the free-throw line.

Three of Clift's 3-pointers came from 35 feet or more as she passed Katie Fariss as OC's career leader for made 3s. Farris had 268 from 2003-07 and Clift now has 273 and counting.
Clift also became one of only five OC players ever to make as many as 12 free throws in a game without a miss, joining Katy O'Steen (13), her sister Katy Clift (13), Sarah Parker (12) and Jan Ross (12).

Addy Clift is the first two-time winner of the Eagle of the Week honor during the 2018-19 academic year.

The Eagle of the Week award recognizes the top performer in OC athletics for the previous week. The honor is presented each week at least one OC athletic team is in competition.
