Launching the 2005 conference campaign 14th ranked Oklahoma Christian was on the receiving end of a 94-62 defeat at the hands of Oklahoma City University Jan. 6.

OCU used a 24-6 run in the final 10 minutes of the first half to take a 45-21 lead at intermission. The Lady Eagles were unable to overcome the Stars with only two OC scorers finishing in double figures. Sophomores Katie Fariss and Rachel Martin each scored 13 points for the Lady Eagles, OC is now 10-4 overall and 0-1 in the SAC.
