Junior Tasha Turney's 14 points led Oklahoma Christian to a 65-50 victory over John Brown University in a conference meeting her Jan. 8.

The victory raises the Lady Eagles record to 11-4 overall and an even 1-1 in SAC play.

Also scoring in double figures for the Lady Eagles were junior Lauren Decker with 13 points and Carlissa Plowden with 12.

After trading early baskets OC went ahead on Plowden's basket midway in the first half and never relinquished the lead. The Lady Eagles let at halftime, 28-22, extended the margin to 47-32 ten minutes into the final sessions, and finished by hitting five of six free throws in the final minutes.
