A day that began with OC students walking the 17 miles from Oklahoma Christian to Southern Nazarene ended with a happy drive back to campus.

The 19th-ranked Eagles won 76-65 while the eighth-ranked Lady Eagles won 90-66.

The Lady Eagles (9-1, 16-5) unleashed a three-point barrage on the Crimson Storm. Oklahoma Christian made 13-of-30 shots (43 percent) from beyond the arc.

Rachel Martin made 5-of-8 treys while Katie Fariss made 5-of-12. OC also shot a blistering 85 percent from the free-throw line (29-of-34).

All five starters scored in double figures, led by Martin's 25 points and Fariss' 23. Tasha Turney scored 15, Carlissa Plowden 14 and Lauren Decker 13.

The 24-point win was the Lady Eagles' largest over SNU since an 89-61 victory in 1986-87. That season also was the last time OC swept SNU before this year.

In the men's game, Charles Baldwin's 25 points and Brady Page's 24 helped the Eagles overcome an early double-digit deficit.

OC enjoyed its best long-range shooting performance in conference play, connecting on 8-of-14 three-pointers (57 percent).

The Eagles also made 20-of-24 free throws (83 percent) to hold off the Crimson Storm down the stretch. Baldwin made 7-of-7, Page made 6-of-6 and Dillon Ripley made 7-of-10.

Keith Harris tallied a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Kendrick Jackson totaled 11 rebounds off the bench for the Eagles (6-4, 16-5).

Both teams play at first-place Oklahoma City on Thursday night. The Lady Eagles can take a half-game lead in the Sooner Athletic Conference with a victory. The women's game tips off at 6 p.m., followed by the men's game at 8 p.m.
