SAN ANTONIO, Texas -
Jill Dickson and
Kallie Rupp made their second appearance on the First Team All-Region this postseason via the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association, along with
Kadence Brewster with another Second Team nod, while
Ella Resendiz made her all-region debut with a Second Team selection, the D2CCA announced Monday, May 18.
Dickson and Rupp picked up their second First Team All-Region honors of the past week after helping lead No. 22 Oklahoma Christian to its second South Central Region-1 Championship in the last three years. Dickson recorded her third save and 17th win of the 2026 campaign over the weekend while Rupp hit .444 (4-for-9) during the Championships.
Resendiz makes her way onto the D2CCA All-Region Second Team, becoming just the fourth Eagle to ever earn NCAA Division II All-Region honors as a freshman and the first since Brooklin Bain and Kylie Janzen in 2021.
The Purcell, Okla., native burst onto the national scene with a South Central Regional run that showed her allowing just two runs on seven hits across 10.1 innings of work, picking up the complete-game win in the opening round against UT Tyler before taking the win in the circle in the first game against CCU.
Ka. Brewster recorded at least one hit in each game played at Assembly Athletic Complex, including a pair of base-knocks in both games against the top-seed Colorado Christian Cougars. Ka. Brewster, who is boasting a career-high 72 hits this season, joins her sister
Kiley Brewster (76) as the first Eagle teammates to eclipse 70 hits in the same season in the NCAA Division II era.
No. 22 Oklahoma Christian (42-14, 30-10 LSC) will now head to Canyon, Texas, for the NCAA Division II South Central Super Regionals for a best-of-three series May 21-22. Game one will be Thursday at 4 p.m. with game two set for Friday at 4 p.m. The if-necessary game three will be at approximately 6:30 p.m. following game two.
