Kadence Brewster were recognized as 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District recipients, the CSC announced Tuesday, May 26.
In order to be eligible for the all-district recognition, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. On the field, eligible student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institutions games played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games. For pitchers, a student-athlete must have made at least 17 appearances OR pitched 35 innings.
This is the second year in a row Dickson and George landed on the CSC Academic All-District team, with five such honorees being the most OC softball has had in program history.
Dickson and Brewster, along with their on-field accolades, are selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced Tuesday, June 16.
