CANYON, Texas - No. 22 Oklahoma Christian, in a win-or-go-home situation, kept its season alive with a game-two 8-6 victory forced a winner-take-all game three to decide the 2026 NCAA Division II South Central Super Regionals.

Game One: No. 22 [5] Oklahoma Christian 8, No. 6 [2] West Texas A&M 6
West Texas A&M got on the board two batters into play with the new LSC single-season home runs leader Jordyn De Los Santos putting WT up, 1-0. That was the only run the Lady Buffs managed on Dickson through the first five innings, allowing just one base runner to reach as far as third base during that time.
The 1-0 deficit held until the bottom of the second inning when the Eagles erupted for four runs on four hits. After opening with three straight singles, resulting in one, run, OC saw its final three runs of the frame come on two outs thanks to an RBI-walk from
Maci George and a two-RBI single from Seat for the 4-1 lead.
Oklahoma Christian added four more runs over the next three innings to extend its lead to 8-1 with play moving into the sixth, marking West Texas A&M's largest deficit of the 2026 postseason. The Lady Buffs cut into the lead by one with a single run in the sixth before OC stood three outs away in the top of the seventh.
Trailing 8-2, the nation's No. 6 team loaded the bases with all three outs still to work with. Resendiz relieved Dickson in the circle, still with a five-run lead intact and no one out.
After WT chipped the lead all the way down to two, 8-6, with two runners still on and the go-ahead run at the plate and all three outs still to work with, the freshman phenom turned a terrific double play with a line-out right back at her, picking off the third-base runner to immediately shift the momentum. The very next batter signaled the third and final out. Â
Game Two: No. 22 [5] Oklahoma Christian vs. No. 6 [2] West Texas A&M (Suspended until Saturday, May 23 at 10 a.m.)
Neither team plated a run through the first two innings, with WT seeing two hits to OC's one. At the time of suspension, the Lady Buffs had a runner on third with two outs.
