The Lady Buffs got a hold of two more than the maroon-and-gray did in Saturday's final, proving to be the difference as a pair of seventh-inning home runs delivered the final blow from Schaeffer Park, 3-0.
Resendiz (15-1) held the nation's top offense to just two hits a six scoreless innings with three strikeouts and one walk prior to the final frame.
