RICHARDSON, Texas - Following the 2026 Lone Star Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships, Oklahoma Christian put 11 athletes on the all-conference teams, the league office announced Thursday, Mar. 12.
The all-conference first team consists of event winners, including all members of the winning relay teams and athletes scoring 14 or more points at the LSC Championships. The all-conference second team consists of all members of the second-place relay teams and athletes scoring 8-13.9 points. The all-conference third team consists of all members of the third-place relay teams and athletes scoring 6-7.9 points.
Solomon Ross,
Laniyah Curry and
Nyla Bentley landed on the all-conference first team after winning the conference crown in the weight throw, long jump and 60 meter dash, respectively. Ross and Bentley are making their all-LSC debuts while Curry is making her second consecutive appearance on the indoor track and field first team.
In addition to his All-Conference First Team nod, Ross was also voted the league's Male Indoor Track and Field Academic Athlete of the Year. Ross holds a cumulative GPA of 3.955, serving as a 2025 Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll selection with a perfect 4.0 last semester, while having competing in at least 50 percent of OC's meets this season.
For the women, Curry and
Katie Bosley are two of 11 LSC All-Academic honorees as the duo held a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better, competed in at least 50 percent of the maroon-and-gray's meets this season, and have reached sophomore athletic eligibility.
Kameron Shropshire and
Laila Ahmed were each honored as Second Team All-LSC performers, with Shropshire placing second in the weight throw behind teammate Ross while Ahmed also took silver medal honors in the high jump.
Phil Lawrence,
Brooke Latham,
Hadleigh Harp,
Kinley Kite, Lilli Giddens and
Aletheia Bigelow each rounded out the OC all-conference recipients with third team honors. Lawrence and Harp each took bronze in the weight throw and 60 meter dash, respectively, while Latham, Kite, Giddens and Bigelow were a part of the Eagles' third-place DMR quartet. Â
