RICHARDSON, Texas - Following a 4-0 week for No. 20 Oklahoma Christian, Jill Dickson was named the Lone Star Conference Pitcher of the Week for the first time this season, the league announced Monday, Apr. 21.

Dickson earned the honor after posting three wins in the circle in three games, claiming both wins in the doubleheader against St. Mary's before nabbing the game-one win against St. Edward's. The trio of victories helped OC secure a top-4 seed in next month's Lone Star Conference Tournament.

Following a complete-game victory against St. Mary's Wednesday, Apr. 16 which featured Dickson throwing seven strikeouts while allowing just three runs on four hits, the Edmond, Okla. (Edmond Memorial HS) native returned for the final 1.2 innings of game two, sitting down six of the seven Rattler batters she faced to claim the extra-inning victory, 10-9.

To complete her undefeated week, Dickson delivered her 12th complete game of the season in the circle, holding St. Edward's to just two runs on six hits as the Eagles avenged their doubleheader loss against the Hilltoppers earlier this season in Austin, Texas.

On the year, the two-time First Team All-Conference selection is third in the league with 172 strikeouts and is 12th with a 2.97 ERA despite being third in the conference with 146.1 innings pitched.

Dickson and No. 20 Oklahoma Christian will hit the road for their final regular season games of the 2025 campaign, beginning with No. 4 UT Tyler Friday, Apr. 25.
