Brooke Latham, after becoming Oklahoma Christian women's cross country's first all-region honoree in since 2016, logged the best individual national finish since 2007 after placing 51st at the 2025 NCAA Division II National Championships.
The two-time all-conference performer, who was one of two at-large selections from the south central region, ran her 6000 meter (3.73 mile) race in 21:17.9. Latham, who was just 11 spots shy of finishing as an all-american, logs the best finish for the program in the DII era.

Wade Miller said. "She positioned herself really well early on in the race and reaced tough in such a big and highly competitive field. She put together such a strong and historic season for our program and we are thankful for her leadership and the commitment she has four our team."
The Amarillo, Texas, native was the fifth highest finisher out of the Lone Star Conference, putting the finishing touches on a 2025 season that featured her second straight all-conference nod, an all-region bid and the best national finish in the Eagles' DII era.
Latham will now begin the indoor track and field season, which begins Friday, Dec. 5 at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Okla., and Saturday, Dec. 6 at Pittsburg State in Pittsburg, Kan.
