RICHARDSON, Texas - For the third year in a row, the Oklahoma Christian women's cross country team earned a top-5 Lone Star Conference preseason ranking after coming in at fourth in the 2025 LSC Preseason Poll, the league announced Friday, Aug. 29.
West Texas A&M took top honors with 30 of the available 32 first-place votes, followed by DBU, which picked up the remaining two nods. Midwestern State came in at third while OC held a firm grasp on fourth, standing 33 points short of MSU and 15 points free of fifth-place St. Edward's.

Wade Miller brings in three freshman to a roster which sported five freshman last season. One of those five first-years from a year ago is
Kinley Kite, who was named the 2024 LSC Freshman of the Year. Joining Kite on 2025's squad is senior
Brooke Latham, who was a fellow all-conference selection.
Caroline Karr, who won the conference's Freshman of the Year award back in 2022, returns for her senior season, as does
Lauren Kirk, who was the fourth Eagle to cross the finish line at last season's LSC Championships in her freshman campaign.
Oklahoma Christian kicks off 2025 with the RSU Distance After Dark in Tulsa, Okla. Thursday, Sept. 4. The women will then meet conference foe and meet host Midwestern State in the Mustang Derby in Wichita Falls, Texas, Thursday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m.
