STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma Christian competed amongst 11 NCAA Division I programs and several other DII teams on the men's side while the women faced nine DI programs in its field as the men placed 18th as a team while the women placed 15th.
Men
Senior
Tegen Arega paced Oklahoma Christian Friday morning, running the men's 8K race in 26:18.4.
Cole Powell followed Arega after crossing the finish line at 26:31.4.
Blake Morrison (27:06.4) and freshman
Maxton Barker (27:08.5) finished within two seconds of each other while
Cade Berkey (27:10.0) came within two seconds of Barker to round out OC's top-5 scorers.
Women
In the women's first 6K race of the 2025 season, 2025Â All-Lone Star Conference performer
Brooke Latham paced the Eagle women with a time of 22:07.2, finishing seventh among non-DI runners.
Caroline Karr was the second OC runner to cross at 22:55.9, followed by
Itzel Flores (23:53.2), 2024 LSC Freshman of the Year
Kinley Kite (24:06.3) and
Kristen Kirk (24:08.7) for the maroon-and-gray's top-5.

The Oklahoma Christian men's cross country team will compete in yet another NCAA Division I field at the Chile Pepper Festival hosted by the University of Arkansas Saturday, Oct. 4 at 10:25 a.m. before both men and women head north to Romeoville, Ill., for the Lewis Crossover Saturday, Oct. 11.
