LOUISVILLE, Ky. - With the 2025 season just 10 days away, the Oklahoma Christian softball program comes in at No. 24 in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association/GoRout Division II Preseason Poll.
Defending national champion and conference foe Texas-Tyler was picked as the preseason favorite, garnering all 16 first-place votes, while national runner-up Western Washington was picked No. 2. Angelo State and West Texas A&M were the only other LSC teams found in the preseason poll, coming in No. 11 and 13, respectively.
The Top-25 ranking comes after OC's historic 2024 season in which it reached the NCAA DII Super Regionals. Last year's 35 wins marked the fourth consecutive year in which the Eagles have eclipsed the 30-win plateau.

Jill Dickson (First Team All-LSC) and
Grace Anderson (Third Team All-LSC). The duo combined for 54 starts, 355.1 innings pitched and 248 strikeouts.
Joining the veterans in the circle are leading hitters
Kiley Brewster and
Kadence Brewster. Ki. Brewster led the offense with a .320 batting average and 55 hits while Ka. Brewster hit .315 while pacing the squad with 58 hits, including 15 doubles.
Oklahoma Christian opens the new campaign in Gulf Shores, Ala., for the inaugural Gulf Shores Softball Invitational, where OC will play five games in three days, including No. 4 Lenoir-Rhyne to kick things off Friday, Jan. 31 at 3 p.m., as well as (RV) Nova Southeastern in the final game of the weekend Sunday, Feb. 2 at 9:30 a.m.
