Eagles Track and Field Takes First in Several Events at the OBU Invitational

Shawnee, Okla. - Oklahoma Christian track and field competed at the 2024 OBU Invitational, after opening the outdoor season at North Texas.

Women's Results - Top 10 Finishes

Katie Bosley finished 9th in the 200 Meters, finishing with a time of 25.53, and took 1st place in the 400 Meters with a time of 57.69.
Mary Loftiss finished 8th in the 100 Hurdles, finishing in a time of 15.73.
Jalyn Ball and Kayedence Bruner took 3rd and 4th in the High Jump, clearing marks of 1.58m, and 1.53, respectively.
Loftiss also finished 5th in the Long Jump with a jump of 5.50m.
Nikkita Addy took 1st in the Discus with a college-best mark of 42.75m.
Addy Also had a career-best and 1st place finish in the Hammer, with a mark of 49.81m.
Madison Gauthier came in 9th place in the Discus with a throw of 35.57m.
Lillian Harden came in 7th in the Hammer with a mark of 37.62, and Gauthier came in right behind in 9th with a mark of 35.65m.

Men's Results - Top 10 Finishes

Sam Fisher took 3rd in the 100 Meters with a time of 10.68.
Fisher also took 6th in the 200 Meters in a time of 22.10, and Camden Miller finished right behind him with a time of 22.13.
Jelte van Atten took 2nd in the 800 Meters, finishing in a time of 1:55.65.
Austin McNair finished 2nd in the 1500 Meters, with a time of 3:55.28.
The 4x400 Relay team of Caden Davis, Miller, Carter Hoelzle, and Collin Whitefield, took 4th with a time of 3:26.34.
Wyatt Thiel had a provisional mark of 2.05m in the High Jump, which was good for third place.
Torrion Montgomery led the way in the Long Jump with a provisional mark of 7.37m, which was good for 2nd place, and Thiel finished in 3rd with a mark of 6.94m. Stacy Smith took 6th with a mark of 6.78m and finished 6th in the Triple Jump with a mark of 13.12m.
Ty Morrison had three top-5 finishes, taking 4th in the Shot Put with a mark of 13.65m, 1st in the Discus with a mark of 42.62m., and 3rd in the Hammer with a mark of 46.78m.
Kameron Shropshire took 1st in the Hammer with a college-best mark of 47.46m, and a career-best in the Discus, with a mark of 40.19m, which was good for 4th place.
John Luke Harker took 5th in the hammer, with a mark of 35.19m.
