Men’s Golf Trio Earns 2022-23 GCAA All-America Scholar Honors

NORMAN, Okla. - Oklahoma Christian men's golf had three members earn 2022-23 GCAA All-America Scholar Honors in this morning's release Alejandro Armijo, Exequiel Rodriguez, and Mateo Pulcini.
 
To be eligible for the GCAA All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior, or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division II. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 78.0 in NCAA Division II, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
 
Armijo and Pulcini made the list for the second time, with Armijo named to the list in 2020 and Pulcini after the 2021-22 season. This award caps their two incredible careers, in which they excelled on the course and in the classroom.
 
Rodriguez made his debut on the list in his first season eligible, while also having the best statistical season by any golfer in program history.
