JONESBORO, Ark. - Oklahoma Christian climbed up one spot on the final day of the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate with a final-round 7-over 295 to finish tied for ninth with a 30-over 894.
Over the final 36 holes, OC shot a 14-over 590, which was the eighth-best final two-round score in the 12-team field.
Vertti Perala improved his positioning with the best final-round score of any Eagle with an even-par 72 to finish 31st while
Lenni Perala carded a 1-over 73 for a 5-over 221 final card.
V. Perala led the team and was tied for sixth in the 72-player field with 36 pars across the three rounds, while L. Perala paced the Eagles and recorded the tied-for-eighth most birdies with 12.
Juan Repetto placed 38th after delivering OC's only eagle of the tournament on the 555-yard par 5 13th. Repetto dominated the par 5s among the maroon-and-gray's five-some, playing them 5-under for the tournament with an average score of 4.5.
Kyler Hemelstrand had the third-best score on the day of the Oklahoma Christian golfers with a 2-over 74 - his best round of the tournament - to place 50th with a 12-over 228.
Jake Yrene rounded out the Eagle five bag with a 21-over 237 for a spot at 67th.
Alex Rigby, playing as an individual, remained at 15th on the leaderboard with an even-par 72 for a three-round score of 2-over 218. Rigby was tied for ninth in the field with the best average score on par 4s at 4.03 (+1).

Francisco Bonavia finished tied for 57th with a 15-over 231 after logging a personal-best 2-over 74 for the tournament in Tuesday's final round.
Oklahoma Christian returns to the Sooner State before heading south to Amarillo, Texas, for the Ryan Palmer Invitational hosted by West Texas A&M Oct. 14-15.Â
