ROCKWALL, Texas - In the final fall tournament of 2025, No. 16 Oklahoma Christian men's golf finished seventh at the DBU Classic Oct. 27-28 with a 54-hole score of 24-over 888.
After round one, OC was tied for fourth with an opening-round 4-over 292 before consecutive 10-over 298 rounds put the Eagles in seventh.
True freshman
Lenni Perala led the Eagles with a 2-over 218 to finish tied for 12th in the 85-player field. After holding a 5-over 144 following the first two rounds, Perala tied the field-best with a third-round 3-under 69. The Lempaala, Finland, native recorded six birdies and an eagle on the 540-yard, par 5 18th during his final round.
Juan Repetto followed L. Perala with a 29th-place finish at 7-over 223. Repetto echoed L. Perala's eagle on the 18th, but coming two rounds earlier in the opening 18 holes.
Jake Yrene, who was tied for sixth in the field after playing the par 5s 5-under for the tournament, and
Vertti Perala completed the countable scorers for Oklahoma Christian with a 10-over 226 and 11-over 227, respectively, while
Colin Richards rounded out the Eagles five-bag with a 15-over 231 while matching L. Perala and Repetto with an eagle during his three rounds.

David Lynn had four golfers participating as individuals as
Francisco Bonavia led that group with a 2-over 218, matching L. Perala with the best score of the players donning the OC Eagle. After posting a 2-over 74 in round one, Bonavia carded back-to-back even-par 72 rounds to finish tied for 12th.
Carson Lee filed in behind Bonavia among OC's individuals after tying for 37th at 9-over 225.
Garrett Thornhill finished at 55th at 14-over 230 before
Kyler Hemelstrand filled out the maroon-and-gray individuals with a 22-over 238 for a spot at 76th.
