Pueblo, Colo. - Over the weekend,
Torrion Montgomery and
Dylan Burrows represented Oklahoma Christian Track and Field at the 2023 NCAA DII Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Pueblo, Colorado.

Montgomery opened the weekend for the Eagles, taking 10th in the Men's Long Jump with a jump of 7.48m. His spot of 10th place earned him All-American honors on the second team.

Dylan Burrows made it to the NCAA Championships in indoor and outdoor seasons in the Men's 800 Meter Run. This weekend he ran a 1:51.16 to take 10th place and earned All-American honors for the second time this year, this time on the second team.

Montgomery and Burrows became the 8th and 9th members of Oklahoma Christian's men's track team to earn All-American honors in the NCAA DII era.

Our goal for both, Torrion and Dylan was to make the final in each of their events, and we just missed that, but overall, they had a great season and competed well at a very strong national meet. We are looking forward to applying the experience gained next year.
