The OC Men's Basketball team was picked to finish 14th in the LSC Preseason Poll posted on Monday. The Eagles earned 183 votes landing them just below UTPB. This poll reflects the opinions of coaches, sports information directors, and members of the media within the league.
Also included in this release was the 2023-2024 LSC Players to Watch. In which, senior guard
Moun'Tae Edmundson was listed after averaging 11.7 pts, 3.5 ast, and 1.4 stl in the 2022-2023 season.
The Eagles are coming out of an off-season where they saw lots of turnover. After losing eight and bringing in nine newcomers, OC is looking to bring lots of energy with its newfound depth as they are led by returning upperclassmen
Moun'Tae Edmundson,
Karlyn Kenner,
Nyk Madison, and
Hunter Staten. Some notable additions include ECU grad transfer,
Quinton Johnson II,
Bryce Kennedy, and incoming freshman
Miles Gibson.
