ABILENE, Texas (March 18, 2022) – In his first collegiate 1,500-meter race, Oklahoma Christian's
Dylan Burrows posted a runner-up finish on Friday night in the Wes Kittley Invitational at Elmer Gray Stadium.
Burrows, a sophomore from Melbourne, Australia, placed second in the field of 40 runners with a time of 3:52.72, just .02 behind Mehdi Tanouri of South Plains (Texas) College.

Owen Pearce of Kingman, Kan., finished 10th in 3:59.97. Pearce and Burrows were the only OC athletes competing in the meet on Friday night.
The meet – the first of the outdoor season for the Eagles – will resume in earnest at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
