Wichita Falls, Texas - Oklahoma Christian took third at the Lone Star Conference Championships hosted by Midwestern State.

The Eagles were led by newly crowned Lone Star Conference Women's Freshman of the Year,
Caroline Karr, who finished 6th (22:28.8).

Kenya Bailey (23:06.5) and
Jayna Gunter (23:15.2) finished back-to-back with 16th and 17th place finishes respectively.

Jacinda Kwambai finished in 28th with a time of 23:52.4, and
Madison Coskey finished with a time of 24:50.3 to round out OC's top five.

"Our team ran well and put together a really strong second half of the race." head coach
Wade Miller said after the race. "We moved up well in multiple spots to take 3rd. Caroline led the way for us again and held off a late charge to take Freshman of the Year, she has really put together a strong season."

On November 19th the team heads to Denver, Colorado to compete in the South-Central Regional Championship for a chance to advance to nationals.
