OKLAHOMA CITY (Jan. 12, 2022) – The remainder of the schedule for Oklahoma Christian's indoor track and field season has been announced by coach
Wade Miller.
The season began Dec. 4 with the Crimson and Gold Invitational at Pittsburg State (Kan.), which was the first of four (and possibly five) visits the Eagles will make to Pittsburg, Kan., during the campaign.
After the holiday break, the Eagles will resume their season on Saturday in Topeka, Kan., in the Washburn Rust Buster. Then will come another trip to Pittsburg State for the Rumble in the Jungle Invitational on Jan. 21. The next day, the Eagles will be in Norman, competing in Oklahoma's J.D. Martin Invitational.
The next weekend, Jan. 28-29, OC's teams will be split, with some athletes in Topeka to compete in the Washburn Open and others headed to Pittsburg State for the Wendy's/Pittsburg State Invitational on the 29th.
OC will wrap up its regular season in Pittsburg State's Indoor Gorilla Classic on Feb. 11-12.
The Lone Star Conference Indoor Championships will return to Texas Tech's Sports Performance Center in Lubbock, Texas, on Feb. 25-26. Should any OC athletes qualify for the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships, that event will be held March 11-12 at Pittsburg State.
