OKLAHOMA CITY (Sept. 12, 2021) – Oklahoma Christian volleyball players Brylie Berryman, Yolaine Lopez and Spencer Plato were named Sunday All-Invitational team for the Central Oklahoma-Oklahoma Christian Invitational.

The three-day, six-team event, co-hosted by UCO and OC, ended Saturday. OC went 2-2 in the invitational, beating Newman (Kan.) and East Central on Friday and losing to Western Colorado and UCO on Saturday.

Berryman, a freshman defensive specialist from Amarillo, Texas, led OC with 82 digs (5.13 per set) and added 22 assists. She had a double-double with 25 digs and 10 assists in a five-set win over Newman and had 30 assists in a five-set loss to Western Colorado.

Lopez, a senior outside hitter from Medillin, Colombia, had 45 kills (2.81 per set) with a strong .267 hitting percentage to go with seven block assists and 12 digs. She recorded double-digit kills against Newman (12), East Central (16, in a three-set sweep, along with a .560 hitting percentage) and Western Colorado (10).

Plato, a freshman setter from Houston, recorded a pair of double-doubles with 30 assists and 10 digs against Newman and 36 assists and 10 digs against Western Colorado. She also had nine kills in OC's four matches.
