Kenner averaged 10.4 points and 3.9 rebounds per game while shooting 37.8 percent from 3-point range and 81.6 percent from the free-throw line for the Crimson Storm, which finished 11-8.
As a freshman at SNU, Kenner made 11 starts and averaged 3.1 points and 1.9 rebounds per game. He's a product of South Grand Prairie High School.
He has three seasons of eligiblity remaining.
"Karlyn is a really good pickup for us," Talley said. "He brings a ton of experience and leadership. He is a combo guard who is creative and can shoot it at a high level. His IQ and selflessness go hand-in-hand. He knows when to be aggressive and when to get others involved. There is no doubt in my mind he will gel with our guys immediately. We're excited to get another guy who has high character and can play at a high level."
Kenner is the fourth player to join the OC roster for the 2021-22 season, joining Texas State transfer guard Drew Tennial of Edmond, junior-college transfer guard Moun'Tae Edmundson of Oklahoma City and Cowley County (Kan.) and incoming freshman guard Calaway Dykes of Decatur, Texas.
