OKLAHOMA CITY (Dec. 5, 2021) -- Leading Oklahoma Christian to a wire-to-wire win over a Lone Star Conference opponent earned sophomore basketball player Drew Tennial recognition Sunday as the Eagle of the Week.

Tennial averaged 12.5 points and 4.5 rebounds while shooting 44.4 percent from the field as the Eagles beat Midwestern State (Texas) 72-64 on Thursday and lost to Dallas Baptist (Texas) 86-72 on Saturday.

In the win over Midwestern State – OC's first this season against a NCAA Division II foe – the 6-foot-5 guard from Edmond scored 15 points to go with six rebounds, a career-high four blocked shots, four assists and two steals. He followed that by scoring 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting in the loss to Dallas Baptist.

Tennial leads OC (2-5) in scoring this season at 12.9 points per game.

-- Kate Bradley, women's basketball: The freshman point guard from Bixby averaged 16 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3 assists and 1.5 steals per game and went 5 of 13 (38.5 percent) from 3-point range as the Lady Eagles lost to Midwestern State and Texas Woman's. She scored a career-high 19 points in the latter game.

-- Bryah Davis, women's track and field: The sophomore sprinter from Cedar Hill, Texas, was OC's top individual event finisher in Pittsburg State's season-opening Crimson and Gold Invitational, finishing seventh among 59 runners in the 200 meters in 25.23 seconds, her best-ever time indoors at that distance. She also finished 18th among 78 runners in the 60 meters in 7.82 seconds.

-- Coby Trevino, men's track and field: The junior from Tuttle ran a career-best time of 49.65 seconds to finish fifth among 33 runners in the 400 meters in the Crimson and Gold Invitational in Pittsburg, Kan. He was the Eagles' top individual finisher in the season-opening meet.

The Eagle of the Week award recognizes the top performer in OC athletics for the previous week. The honor is presented each week at least one OC athletic team is in competition.
