Bailey, Eaves, Ibandzo Named to NABC Honors Court

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - After the completion of the 2025-26 season, Elijah Bailey, Eli Eaves and David Oyona-Ibandzo were selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court, the NABC announced Wednesday, July 15.

In order to be eligible for the NABC Honors Court, a student-athlete must be a junior, senior or graduate student men's basketball player who finished the 2025-26 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. The NABC's academic awards are presented annually to teams and athletes from all levels of college basketball.

"College basketball student-athletes do incredible things on the court, but their achievements in the classroom are equally worthy of celebration," said NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson. "Education is one of the NABC's core values, and the hundreds of programs and thousands of athletes represented on these awards reinforce the commitment to academic success that exists across all levels of our sport."

Three honorees is the most Oklahoma Christian has had since the 2016-17 season and the most of the NCAA Division II era. Bailey, Eaves and Oyona-Ibandzo played a combined 737 minutes for the Eagles this season as OC recorded its third-most Lone Star Conference wins (7) since joining the league in the 2019.
