RICHARDSON, Texas (Oct. 25, 2021) – Two days after the Lone Star Conference Cross Country Championship race, Oklahoma Christian distance runner
Kenya Bailey officially received recognition Monday on the All-LSC list.
The All-LSC list includes the top 15 individual finishers from the race run Saturday in Lawton, Okla. Bailey, a junior from Ponca City, Okla, took third, covering the 6,000 meters in a career-best time of 22:11.94.
She earned her fourth cross country All-Conference award in as many years – one from the Heartland Conference in 2018 and three from the LSC. She's steadily improved her finish in LSC races from 14th in 2019 to seventh in 2020 to third this year.
She led the Eagles to a sixth-place team finish on Saturday, the highest in their three seasons in the LSC.
