OKLAHOMA CITY (April 6, 2020) – Oklahoma Christian's softball record book has been updated and, for the first time, now is posted online.

The updated record book (which can be found here) expands on previous editions of the record book, thanks to archival material provided by the founder and longtime coach of the OC program, Tom Heath. Most categories include three to five (or more) entries, listing top performers in numerous statistical categories.

In addition to the previously listed individual record categories, a new section with team single-game and season records also now is included.

The record book now also features a list of OC players who have posted a .300 or higher career batting average (minimum two seasons) as well as lists of no-hitters thrown by OC pitchers and multi-homer games by OC hitters. It also includes the Eagles' all-time records against opponents since 1997 (the first year game-by-game results are available) as well as OC's records against teams from different states.

As with any record book, research will remain ongoing to address any errors or omissions. Those who have information regarding potential entries should contact OC's assistant athletic director for media relations, Murray Evans, at murray.evans@oc.edu.
