RICHARDSON, Texas (Feb. 7, 2020) – Advance tickets for the 2020 Lone Star Conference Championship for men's and women's basketball now are on sale now, the LSC office said Friday.
Twelve men's teams and 12 women's teams will qualify for the LSC Championship, which will begin March 3 with first-round games played at campus sites. The final eight teams in both tournaments will advance to the Comerica Center in Frisco, Texas.
The quarterfinals, semifinals and championship of the tournament will run from March 5-8, with the women's quarterfinals will be played on Thursday, and the men's quarterfinals on Friday. The women's semifinals will be played on Saturday afternoon followed by the men's semifinals Saturday night. Both finals will be played on Sunday afternoon.
Tickets for the games in Frisco are available online through Ticketmaster (
www.ticketmaster.com) and at the Comerica Center box office. They also will be available at LSC member institutions, with all-session passes $15 off the regular price beginning the week of Feb. 10 through March 4.
Fans can save $15 off the regular price for all-session passes and avoid fees by making an on-campus advance purchase. The all-session ticket grants access to all seven sessions at a reduced rate of $45. The all-session price increases to $60 for those not purchased through LSC schools by March 4.
Single-session tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students (university students with valid school identification from any institution) or children ages 2-18.
This is the third year for the LSC Basketball Championship to be played in Frisco. This is Oklahoma Christian's first season in the LSC and both the Eagles and Lady Eagles are fighting to earn spots in the 12-team tournament.
