RICHARDSON, Texas (Nov. 3, 2020) – Oklahoma Christian cross country runner
Kenya Bailey officially was named to the All-Lone Star Conference list on Tuesday, three days after earning the honor at the league meet in San Angelo, Texas.
Bailey, a junior from Ponca City, Okla., finished seventh at the LSC race, covering the 6,000 meters in 22:42.21, her career-best time for that distance.
It's the second straight year in which she made the All-LSC cross country team, as she finished 14th in the 2019 LSC race in Silver City, N.M. All-conference honors are earned by the top 15 finishers at the league meet. She also made the All-LSC list in indoor track and field earlier this year.
Bailey and teammate
Caroline Schwab qualified as individuals to run in the Division II XC National Invitational, to be run on Nov. 14 in Lubbock, Texas.
