DURANT, Okla. (Nov. 17, 2020) – Oklahoma Christian softball signee Grace Anderson was named Tuesday as the C4 player of the year by C4 Sports Performance and Fitness.
Anderson, a right-handed pitcher from Tishomingo, was one of three finalists for the award from the southern Oklahoma area served by C4. She led Tishomingo to a 34-3 record and its second straight Class 3A state title this fall, going 27-1 with a 0.24 ERA and 376 strikeouts against only 11 walks.
As a senior, she pitched seven no-hitters (one of those in a 3-0 state championship-game win over Washington) and 21 shutouts and also hit .510 with 50 RBIs. She was named to the Oklahoma High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association's All-State team and will represent the Middle East squad in the annual All-State game at OC in June.
She signed last week with OC.
