DES MOINES, Iowa (April 26, 2019) – Oklahoma Christian finished 10th among 21 teams in the men's sprint relay in the Drake Relays on Friday night at Drake Stadium.

The Eagles' quartet of Verrell McBride, Ian Colbert, Javier Hernandez and Reid Little finished in 3:30.16 in the seldom-run relay event covering 1,600 meters.

McBride, a freshman from Norman, and Colbert, a sophomore from Frisco, Texas, covered the two 200-meter legs of the relay, with Hernandez, a sophomore from Allentown, Pa., running the 400-meter leg. That trio covered the first 800 meters in 1:32.15 and Little, a freshman from Amarillo, Texas, ran the closing 800-meter leg in 1:58.01.

The Eagles will field a team in the distance medley relay on Saturday morning at the Drake meet.
