Olsson scores points for OC in javelin at ORU meet

OC freshman Jonathan Olsson scored points for the Eagles in the javelin at the ORU Invitational.

TULSA, Okla. (March 29, 2019) – Oklahoma Christian thrower Jonathan Olsson scored the Eagles' first team points with a sixth-place finish in the javelin on Friday at the Oneok Sports Complex.

Olsson, a freshman from Emporia, Kan., recorded a top throw of 152 feet, 6 inches (46.49 meters) to pick up three team points for OC. The Eagles are in sixth place in the team standings after three events.

The meet will continue on Saturday.
