Roderick Smith represented Oklahoma Christian on the all-tournament team for the Heartland Conference Championship.
The team was announced Sunday after top-seeded St. Edward's (Texas) beat second-seeded Dallas Baptist (Texas) 69-59 in the title game at Union Multipurpose Activity Center.
Smith, from Houston, led OC with 13 points and added five rebounds and two blocked shots as sixth-seeded OC knocked off third-seeded Lubbock Christian (Texas) 56-48 in the quarterfinals on Friday. In a 72-58 loss to Dallas Baptist on Saturday, he had 16 points and 13 rebounds for his seventh double-double of the season.
Ashton Spears of St. Edward's receive tournament most valuable player honors. Joining Smith on the all-tournament team were Chandler Jacobs and Zach Lord of Dallas Baptist, Spears and Dorian Lopez of St. Edward's and Tate Turner of Rogers State.
