OKLAHOMA CITY (Feb. 27, 2019) – Oklahoma Christian will hold the first tryout for its revived volleyball program on March 30, OC coach Barry Wheeler said Wednesday.

The tryout will be held from 10 a.m. to noon in the Eagles' Nest. Players wishing to participate need to register by 4:30 p.m. on March 29 with Wheeler and have the following documentation prepared:

– A physical conducted within the past six months. High school, junior college participants or transfer candidates who competed during 2018 volleyball season can use that physical.
– A completed sickle cell test waiver. If you have had a sickle cell performed previously, you can use it.
– A completed tryout form.
– A signed information sheet.

Current OC students, in addition to the above information, also will need to include a current transcript.

High school or junior college participants are encouraged to be registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center at www.eligibilitycenter.org.

Transfer participants coming from an NCAA or NAIA program also will need to provide Wheeler a release form from their current school before attending the tryout.
