NORMAN, Okla. (Feb. 9, 2019) –
Keenan Lee's fourth-place finish in the pole vault highlighted a solid performance in the field events by Oklahoma Christian on Saturday in the Central Oklahoma Alumni Classic at the University of Oklahoma's Mosier Indoor Facility.
Lee, a freshman from Edmond, vaulted 13 feet, 5¼ inches (4.10 meters), matching his top collegiate height in the event. He was one of three OC field-event competitors to post top-10 event finishes.
Sophomore
Johnathan Tucker of Ellenwood, Ga., placed fifth in the triple jump with a mark of 40 feet (12.19 meters) and ninth in the long jump with a leap of 19 feet, 5½ inches (5.93 meters).
Freshman
Jonathan Olsson of Emporia, Kan., was seventh in the shot put at 41 feet, 8 inches (12.70 meters) and 10th in the weight throw at 32 feet, 1½ inches (9.79 meters).
In running events, sophomore
Maurice Hill of San Antonio was seventh in the 400 meters (52.99 seconds) and senior
Jake Weith of Arlington, Texas, was ninth in the 3,000 meters (9:20.82).
