OKLAHOMA CITY (Nov. 20, 2019) – Three Oklahoma prep standouts and another from north Texas have signed to play college soccer at Oklahoma Christian, OC women's coach Meagan Anderson said Wednesday.

Goalkeeper Ashlee Jackson of Mustang, midfielder Grace Cornelius of Mustang and defenders Ryan Ackerman of Edmond and Reagan Keiser of The Colony, Texas, will join the OC program for the 2020 season.

Jackson and Cornelius played for current OC assistant coach Lindsay Riggs, who has guided Mustang to the Class 6A title game each of the past two seasons. Jackson received honorable mention on The Oklahoman's All-City list this past spring, while Cornelius – who has scored five career goals for Mustang – made the All-Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference first-team list.

Jackson plays club soccer for Oklahoma Celtic in Norman, while Cornelius plays for South Lakes Soccer Club's Cosmos Elite club.

"Ashlee is an athletic keeper with great shot-blocking technique," Anderson said. "She is vocal and a competitor. I'm anxious to have her knowledge and work ethic.

"Gracie is a midfielder with great downfield vision. She holds her own in tackles and does her job with battles in the middle of the field. She's a two-way player with roles on both sides of the ball."

Ackerman has been a key contributor for Edmond Memorial and Norman Celtic the past few years, anchoring the left back position.

"Ryan is a defensive player we are looking forward to adding to our back line," Anderson said. "She doesn't shy away from the competition and that will bode well for us on the left side."

Keiser has starred for The Colony High School and her Dallas Texans club team. In prep ball, she was named as the defensive most valuable player of District 8-5A this past spring. She also was a first-team All-District pick as a sophomore and made the second-team list as a freshman.

"Reagan is going to be a big addition for us in the back," Anderson said. "Her physical play will pay off for us in our league. She reads the game well in her ability to make runs out of the back."

Keiser, Ackerman, Cornelius and Jackson are the first members of the Eagles' 2020 signing class. Anderson said she expects more players will sign over the next few months.
