TAHLEQUAH, Okla.- Oklahoma Christian went on the road for the first time of the 2026-27 season and captured their first road win of the season, 2-0. The Eagles faced off against Northeastern State and netted 2 goals for the second straight game while holding their opponent to zero goals.

OC scored their first goal of the contest in the 27th minute on a pass from freshman midfielder Rylan McIntyre to Zoe Walker  who captured her first goal of the season. It was not until late in the second half when the Lady Eagles scored their 2nd and final goal of the contest. The second goal of the game was netted in by Caid Jefferson and assisted by Jordan Tanges giving Jefferson her third goal of the season and Tanges her first assist on the season.

The game was well balanced as the shot count was an even 12 to 12 while the shot on goal count was 7 (OC) to 3 (NSU). Breanna Wooten also recorded 3 saves on the night while posting her second clean sheet of the season.

Oklahoma Christian (2-0, 0-0 LSC) will return home to take on Mississippi Christian Thursday, September 3 at 2 P.M.
