Oklahoma Christian snapped a five-game losing streak by rolling past St. Gregory's University 84-57 in Shawnee Feb. 28.
Regaining their winning form, the Eagles had four players in double figures, shot 53 percent form the field in the second half and were 18 of 21 at the free throw line.
The win gives the Eagels a 17-11 record on the season and a 7-10 conference mark with a game against Southern Nazarene University March 7 (Thursday) still to play. St. Gregory's closes its season at 9-18 and 5-12.
Enjoying good success from the outside, the Eagles connected on 12 three-pointers including four for the night by freshman Keith Harris and three for three by Brady Page. Harris finished with a game high 18 points. OC scoring leader Jarred Merrill recorded his 22nd double-double of the season with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Page and freshman Charles Baldwin each finished with 13 points.
Also enjoying his best game of the season was 6-8 freshman Micah Miles, who scored nine points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
