Kelly and Kory Allen combined for 12 straight points to seal Oklahoma Christian's 75-63 victory over conference rival St. Gregory's University at home Jan. 10.
Kelly connected on back-to-back three-pointers, then Kory scored three field goals in the lane to give the Eagles a decisive 71-63 lead with a minute remaining. OC led throughout the contest but St. Gregory's made a second half run to close withing two points 59-57 with four minutes to go.
The victory lifted the Eagles to a 12-2 record in regular season play and a 2-1 record in the conference race.
Scoring leader Jarred Merrill paced the Eagles with his 10th double-double of the season with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Kelly Allen, hitting four of six behind the arc, finished with 16 points and sophomore Brady Page had 13.
